Well, 2017 is one for the books you guys. It isn’t easy parting with a year that has marked such a huge chapter in life for me. I mean this year literally goes down in my personal history book. Most of you probably know the reasons why 2017 was so amazing (more detes here in my last blog post). Besides marrying my Rich Charming -like no big deal, just the day I’ve dreamed of since I was a young girl and the most special day of both of our lives, all the fun festivities that came along with it, I also got to take my first trip out of the country for our Honeymoon which was an absolute blast and such an unforgettable trip! This past year came with a lot of highs and also some lows. Through it all there are a few things I always turn to that help me get through.
- Number 1- God. – I’ve learned a lot more about my faith and about God in 2017 and how extremely grateful I am for all He has done and does for us.
- Number 2- The Hubs – Seriously Rich keeps me level and my spirits high. Don’t know what I would do without him!
- Number 3- Family & Friends – what is life without our people?!
- Number 4- MUSIC
My entire life music has taken up a very special place in my heart and soul. It is seriously LIFE for me. It’s that one thing that has always spoken to me. It hits me in my core, and I know I’m not alone here. You know when you read a really good quote, you let it simmer for a minute, and then get chills because it’s so powerful? (I may be the only one? lol!) This is almost equivalent to how a good beat, mixed with the perfect blend of instruments and vocals is to me. Maybe I am just a major dork when it comes to music :-p but I will get chill bumps Every. Time. I hear someone kill it on vocals or that perfect blend sets off in a song. SO, with that being said, some of you were interested in my most listened to songs in 2017 and so I’ve created this list for you. . .
