This past week I threw out a lot of inspirational quotes in my daily posts. Talking about going after your dreams, be tough and channel your inner strength. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” (POWERFUL) And my absolute favorite quote that I first heard a couple years ago from Laurie Greiner on ‘Shark Tank’ quoting Ayn Rand a woman philosopher ” T h e q u e s t i o n i s n ‘ t w h o i s g o i n g t o l e t m e , i t ‘ s w h o i s g o i n g t o s t o p m e?” This quote really hit me hard. I finally started to realize, what are we all doing with our lives? At that moment I began to see that I was in control of my life. I didn’t need permission from anyone to do the things I’d dreamt of doing, hitting those goals I once set. I was living in fear in a self sabotaging world. I would catch myself thinking I couldn’t do certain things, or I would put it all off for another time for reasons that really shouldn’t have stopped me. I would find myself feeling so down and sad and at the time wouldn’t totally understand why. “Who is going to stop me?” – I was stopping myself! Ya’ll, when I started to realize that’s what I was doing, that’s what was holding me back, then I was able to catch myself in action during those self sabotage moments. No one EVER achieves their goals if they don’t truly believe they can do it because they let themselves get in their own way. I would be getting in my own way. You know what though, I am worthy of my dreams, you are ALL worthy of your dreams! So it’s time to quit giving ourselves reasons we can’t achieve them. Now, it’s time to just go for it! Having the confidence in yourself mixed with the power of prayer to the great Lord above is the best blend to reaching our dreams!
